The Importance of Book Covers

One of the most common questions is "Do I really need an ebook cover?" The answer is "Yes." People do judge a book by its cover -- even more so with an ebook because it is an intangible product. They cannot hold it in their hands, so you must make it appear to be real -- and a cover graphic is the best choice.

Now there is a lot of clip art and ebook cover collections out there. Unfortunately, most of us are not artists, and the end result is often -- well, less than impressive. Remember: when you are browsing in the bookstore, what grabs your eye? An amateur designed cover or something that engages your interest or is pleasing to the eye?

There are also many different ebook cover design tools and design services to choose from. You don't have to be a developer of a software guru to use most of these tools. In fact, most come with a library of professionally designed covers. Using the software, you simply add your book title and author name, and click a button to render a photo-realistic 3D book cover graphic. It's really amazing to watch these tools in action. Within minutes you can transform an idea into a concrete vision.

Do yourself a favor and visit Ebook Cover Creator. This site has reviews on just about every book cover creation software tool available as well as samples from many cover artists. Remember, people do judge books by their covers. Doesn't your book deserve the best cover you can afford?
